TOOL INFORMATION
Diagnostic CD: T/N 07AAZ-SDBA100
DIAGNOSIS
Play the diagnostic CD to recreate the noise complaint. When you hear the buzz, apply pressure to the speaker grille with your hand.

If the noise goes away, go to REPAIR PROCEDURE.

If the noise does not go away, disregard this service bulletin and continue with your normal diagnosis.
REPAIR PROCEDURE
1. Remove the center upper panel:

Refer to page 20-121 of the 2007-09 MDX Service Manual, or
^
Online, enter keyword UPPER, and select
Dashboard Center Upper Panel Removal/
Installation from the list.
2. Transfer the speaker (two screws) from the original center upper panel to the new one.
3. Install the center upper panel.
4. Make sure the noise is gone by playing the diagnostic CD.
