ECT Sensor 1 Replacement
ECT Sensor 1 Replacement
1. Drain the engine coolant.
2. Remove the air cleaner.
3. Remove the charge air cooler.
4. Remove the ignition coil cover (A) and bolt (B).
5. Disconnect the ignition coil connectors (C), CMP sensor A connector (D), CMP sensor B connector (E), and the EVAP canister purge valve
connector (F).
6. Remove the harness holder (G).
NOTE: Be careful not to damage the ECT sensor 1 harness.
7. Disconnect the ECT sensor 1 connector (A).
8. Remove ECT sensor 1 (B).
9. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal with a new O-ring (C), then refill the radiator with engine coolant.
