Fuel Fill Door Opener Cable Replacement

NOTE:

Take care not to scratch the body or related parts.

1. Remove these items:

-

Rear seat cushion  See: Seats/Service and Repair/Rear Seat Removal/Installation

Rear seat side bolster, left side  See: Seats/Service and Repair/Rear Seat Removal/Installation

-

Front door sill trim, driver's side  See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Scuff Plate/Service and Repair

Kick panels, driver's side  See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Scuff Plate/Service and Repair

Rear door sill trim, left side  See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Scuff Plate/Service and Repair

B-pillar lower trim, left side  See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Pillar Trim/Interior Trim Removal/Installation -
Pillar Areas

2. Pull the carpet back as needed.

3. Release the opener cable (A) from the clip (B) and the hooks (C) of the wire harness bands. Remove the wire harness band (D) and the cushion

tape (E).

4. Pinch the hooks (A) from inside the vehicle, remove the grommet (B) from the body.
