Rear Door Window Glass Weatherstrip: Service and Repair
Rear Door Glass Outer Weatherstrip Replacement
NOTE:

Put on gloves to protect your hands.

Take care not to scratch the door or the related parts.
1. Remove these items:

Door panel See: Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Rear Door/Rear Door Panel/Service and Repair/Rear Door Panel Removal/Installation

Rear door glass See: Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Rear Door/Rear Door Window Glass/Service and Repair
2. Starting at the rear, release the hooks (A) and detach the clips (B), then pull up the rear door glass outer weatherstrip (C) from the rear.
3. Release the front hook (D) from inside of the door, then remove the rear door glass outer weatherstrip.
4. Install a new weatherstrip in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
NOTE:

When reinstalling the door panel, make sure the plastic cover is installed properly and sealed around its outside perimeter to seal out water.

Push the clips and the hooks into place securely.
