Fuel Pressure Pulsation Damper: Service and Repair
Fuel Pulsation Damper Replacement
1. Relieve the fuel pressure See: Fuel Filter/Fuel Pressure Release/Service and Repair.
2. Remove the charge air cooler See: Turbocharger/Intercooler/Service and Repair.
3. Remove the injector cover See: Fuel Injector/Service and Repair.
4. Disconnect the connectors from the injectors, then remove the harness holder See: Fuel Injector/Service and Repair.
5. Remove the fuel pulsation damper (A) from the fuel rail (B).
6. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal with a new sealing washer (C).
