Fuel Filler Neck: Service and Repair
Fuel Cap Adapter Replacement
NOTE: Take care not to scratch the body.
1. Remove the cap (A) by turning it counterclockwise, and remove the screw.
2. Remove the fuel fill door lid See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Fuel Door/Adjustments.
3. Remove the fuel pipe protector See: Body and Frame/Splash Guard/Service and Repair/Fuel Pipe Protector Replacement.
4. Remove the bolts, and lower the fuel filler pipe (A), then remove it from the fuel cap adapter (B).
5. Turn the fuel cap adapter (A), then remove it.
