9. Remove the nuts securing the shift cable bracket (E).
10. Check the bushing (F) in the shift cable end for proper fit and wear. If the bushing is loose or worn, replace the shift cable See: Transmission and
Drivetrain/Automatic Transmission/Transaxle/Shift Linkage/Shift Cable/Service and Repair.
11. Disconnect the input shaft (mainshaft) speed sensor connector (A), output shaft (countershaft) speed sensor connector (B), transmission fluid
pressure switch B (3rd clutch) connector (C), and ATF temperature sensor connector (D).
12. Disconnect the A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valve A connector (A), solenoid valve B connector (B), and shift solenoid wire harness
connector (C).
