Shift Lock Solenoid Replacement
NOTE: Make sure not to get any silicone grease on the terminal part of the connectors and switches, especially if you have silicone grease on your hands
or gloves.
1. Remove the shift lever See: Automatic Transmission/Transaxle/Shifter A/T/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/A/T Shift Lever
Removal.
2. Remove the shift lock solenoid connector.
3. Release the lock tabs retaining the shift lock solenoid using thin blade screwdrivers.
4. Insert a 6 mm (0.24 in) pin (A) into the guide hole (B), and push the shift lock solenoid (C) out.
5. Replace the shift lock solenoid, solenoid plunger (D), and plunger spring (E) assembly.
