2. Release the tab (B), and slide the outer handle base forward to release the special bolt (C) from the door panel.
3. Detach the connector clip (D) and harness clip (E) from the outer handle base.
14. Remove the joint bushing (A) from the outer handle (B), then replace it with a new one.
15. Install the handle in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

Reinstall the lock cylinder (driver's door) or the outer handle holder (passenger's door) before installing the outer handle cover.

Make sure the outer handle light connector is plugged in properly, and the outer handle rod and the lock cylinder cable (driver's door) are
connected securely.

Make sure the door lock cylinder/door locks operate properly (driver's door).

Make sure the door handle works properly.

When reinstalling the door panel, make sure the plastic cover is installed properly and sealed around its outside perimeter to seal out water.
