Lateral Accelerometer: Service and Repair
Yaw Rate-Lateral/Longitudinal Acceleration Sensor Replacement
NOTE:

Do not damage or drop the sensor as it is sensitive.

Do not use power tools.
1. Remove the center console side panel.
2. Remove the center console panel.
3. Remove the select lever fixing bolts.
4. Remove the yaw rate-lateral/longitudinal acceleration sensor bracket fixing bolts, and then disconnect the sensor connector (A).
5. Pull out the yaw rate-lateral/longitudinal acceleration sensor bracket (B) with the yaw rate-lateral/longitudinal acceleration sensor.
6. Remove the sensor fixing bolts, and then separate the sensor (C) from the bracket.
7. Install the sensor in the reverse order of removal.
8. Do the VSA sensor neutral position memorization.
9. Do the SH-AWD yaw rate-lateral/longitudinal acceleration sensor neutral position memorization procedure.
