NOTE:

Put on gloves to protect your hands.

Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when prying components.

Take care not to damage, wrinkle or twist the carpet.

Be careful not to damage the dashboard or other interior trim pieces.
1. Remove these items:

Front seats, both sides See: Seats/Service and Repair/Front Seat Removal/Installation

Rear seat cushion See: Seats/Service and Repair/Rear Seat Removal/Installation

Front door sill trim, both sides See: Scuff Plate/Service and Repair/Interior Trim Removal/Installation - Front Door Sill Area

Rear door sill trim, both sides See: Scuff Plate/Service and Repair/Interior Trim Removal/Installation - Rear Door Sill Area

B-pillar lower trim, both sides See: Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Interior Trim Removal/Installation - B-Pillar Lower Trim

Kick panel, both sides See: Scuff Plate/Service and Repair/Interior Trim Removal/Installation - Front Door Sill Area

Center console See: Console/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Center Console Removal/Installation

Select lever bracket See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Automatic Transmission/Transaxle/Shifter A/T/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/A/T Shift Lever Removal
2. Detach the clips, then remove the footrest (A).
3. Push the knob (A) back to release the hooks (B), then pull up the accelerator pedal (C).
