Seat Heater Test (With Seat Ventilator)

Seat Heater Test

Driver's Seat

1. Remove the driver's seat,  See: Service and Repair/Front Seat Removal/Installation then remove the seat-back cover.  See: Seat Cover/Service and

Repair/Front Seat-back Cover Replacement

2. Disconnect the 5P connector (A) from the seat cushion heater and 2P connector (B) from the seat-back heater.

Seat Cushion Heater Test

3. Check for continuity between the seat cushion heater 5P connector terminals No. 2 and No. 3. There should be continuity. If there is no continuity,

replace the seat cushion heater.

4. Check for continuity between the seat cushion heater 5P connector terminals No. 1 and No. 4. There should be continuity, replace the seat cushion

heater.

Seat-back Heater Test

5. Check for continuity between the seat-back heater 2P connector terminals No. 1 and No. 2. There should be continuity. If there is no continuity,

replace the seat-back heater.

6. Reconnect the 5P and 2P connectors to the seat heaters, and check for continuity between the seat cushion heater 5P connector terminal No. 5 and

the seat-back heater 2P connector terminal No. 2. There should be continuity. If there is no continuity, repair an open in the wire between the seat
cushion heater and the seat-back heater.
