Front Door Window Glass Weatherstrip: Service and Repair
Front Door Glass Outer Weatherstrip Replacement
NOTE:

Put on gloves to protect your hands.

The door glass outer weatherstrip will need replacement because it will bend during removal.
-
Take care not to scratch the door.
1. Remove these items:

Door panel See: Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Front Door Panel/Service and Repair/Front Door Panel Removal/Installation

Door glass inner weatherstrip See: Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Front Door Panel/Service and Repair/Front Door Panel
Removal/Installation

Door sash inner trim See: Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Front Door Panel/Service and Repair/Front Door Sash Inner Trim
Replacement

Power mirror See: Mirrors/Service and Repair/Power Mirror Replacement
2. Starting at the front, pull the door glass outer weatherstrip (A) up at each portion where the inner molding (B) catches the inside edge of the
window slot, and then detach the rear clip (C), then remove the weatherstrip.
3. Install a new weatherstrip in the reverse order of removal, and push it into place securely.
