Rear Vent Control Motor Replacement
1. Remove the utility pocket. See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Utility Storage Compartment/Service and Repair/Utility Pocket
Removal/Installation
2. Remove the center console. See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Console/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Center
Console Removal/Installation Remove the rear vent duct. See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service
and Repair/Dashboard/Steering Hanger Beam Removal/Installation
3. Remove the shift lever. See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Automatic Transmission/Transaxle/Shifter A/T/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/A/T Shift Lever Removal
4. Disconnect the 5P connector (A) and the duct (B).
5. Remove the self-tapping screws and the rear vent control motor (A).
6. Install the motor in the reverse order of removal. Make sure the pin on the motor is properly engaged with the linkage. After installation, make
sure the motor runs smoothly.
