Condenser HVAC: Service and Repair
A/C Condenser Replacement
1. Recover the refrigerant with a recovery/recycling/charging station. See: Service and Repair/A/C Refrigerant Recovery
2. Remove the upper grille cover. See: Body and Frame/Grille/Service and Repair/Upper Grille Cover Replacement
3. Do the battery terminal disconnection procedure. See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and Repair/Procedures
4. Remove the clip (A) and the harness (B), then remove the air intake ducts (C).
5. Remove the bolt, then disconnect the receiver line (A) from the A/C condenser.
6. Remove the bolt, then disconnect the discharge hose (A) from the A/C condenser.
7. Remove the bolts and the radiator upper mount brackets (A).
