Shift Interlock Switch: Service and Repair
A/T Park Pin Switch Replacement
NOTE: The park pin switch is installed in the shift lever bracket, and not available separately from the shift lever bracket; replace the park pin switch
and the shift lever bracket.
1. Remove the shift lever. See: Shifter A/T/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/A/T Shift Lever Removal
2. Disassemble the shift lever. See: Shifter A/T/Service and Repair/Overhaul/A/T Shift Lever Disassembly/Reassembly
3. Replace the park pin switch and the shift lever bracket.
4. Assemble the shift lever.
5. Install the shift lever. See: Shifter A/T/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/A/T Shift Lever Installation
