Alarm System Transponder: Service and Repair
Removal
1. Remove the dashboard lower cover.
2. Disconnect the ignition key light socket from the ignition key light ring by turning the socket.
3. Loosen the screw, then remove the ignition key light ring.
4. Disconnect the immobilizer receiver 3P connector.
5. Remove the screw and the ignition key switch.
6. Remove the screw from the key cylinder housing.
7. Turn the ignition key to "I".
8. Push the lock pin, and remove the key cylinder by pulling the ignition key.
NOTE: Don't pull on the immobilizer receiver.
9. Turn the ignition key to 0, and remove it.
10. Turn the immobilizer receiver clockwise, and remove it.
