Trunk / Liftgate Solenoid: Testing and Inspection
1. Open the trunk lid, and remove the trunk lid trim.
2. Disconnect the 6P connector from the trunk lid latch assembly.
3. Test the solenoid by connecting power to the No.3 terminal and ground to the No.4 terminals momentarily.
The solenoid should work.
