RL V6-3474cc 3.5L (1998)
2. Shift the detent lever to the [P] position.
3. Install the A/T gear position switch on the control shaft, then install the bolts loosely.
4. Install a new lock washer on the A/T gear position switch by aligning its projected tip with the [N] position mark on the A/T gear position switch
as shown.
5. Tighten the locknut while holding the detent lever in the [N] position, then bend the lock tabs against the locknut.
6. Tighten the 6 mm bolts to the specified torque.
