Passenger Side
Front Passenger's Airbag Replacement
Removal
1. Disconnect the battery negative cable, and wait at least 3 minutes before beginning work.
2. Remove the glove box.
3. Disconnect the connector between the front passenger's airbag 4P connector (A) and the dashboard wire harness B 4P connector (B).
4. Remove the three mounting nuts (A) from the bracket. Cover the lid and dashboard with a cloth, and pry carefully with a screwdriver to lift the
front passenger's airbag (B) out of the dashboard.
NOTE: The airbag lid has pawls on its side which attach it to the dashboard.
Installation
1. Place the new front passenger's airbag (A) into the dashboard. Tighten the front passenger's airbag mounting nuts (B).
