Do not position yourself in front of the airbag assembly during removal, inspection, or replacement

Refer to the scrapping procedures for disposal of the damaged airbag.

The side curtain airbag inflator assembly is a long, jointed part containing an inflator (A), a flexible bag (B), an adapter pipe (C), and a center
bracket (D).

When removing or installing the side curtain airbag inflator assembly, never handle the flexible bag (B) or the adapter pipe (C).
