Flex Plate: Service and Repair
Drive Plate Removal and Installation
1. Remove the transmission.
2. Remove the eight drive plate bolts, then separate the drive plate from the crankshaft flange. After installation, tighten the bolts in a crisscross
pattern.
3. Install the transmission.
