Wind Noise at the Top of the Windshield
SYMPTOM
Wind noise can be heard coming from the top of the windshield when the vehicle is driven at highway speeds.
PROBABLE CAUSE
Airflow over the windshield molding causes it to vibrate.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Apply sealant under the entire length of the upper windshield molding.

DIAGNOSIS
1.
Test-drive the vehicle, preferably on a warm day, to verify the noise. (On cooler days, you may not hear it.)

If you hear the noise, go to step 2.

If you don't hear the noise, disregard this bulletin, and look for other possible causes.
2.
Apply a 2-inch-wide strip of masking tape over the windshield molding along the A-pillars and the roof.
