Brake Master Cylinder: Adjustments
1. Remove retainer from vacuum booster front shell, using a tapering screwdriver.
2. Gently draw plate and seal assembly out of the shell inside, Fig. 3.
3. Set pushrod gauge on vacuum booster. Using a suitable vacuum pump, apply negative pressure, to the pressure in the vacuum booster becomes
500 mm Hg.

4. Measure dimension L, Fig. 4 using pushrod gauge tool No. J39216, or equivalent.
5. If measurement is not within .0039 inch (0.1 mm), adjust pushrod using pushrod support tool No. J-39241, or equivalent.
