Dear SLX Owner:
This letter is to inform you of a revision to your 1996 SLX Owner's Manual
The Maintenance Schedule. on page 177 of your Owner's Manual, recommends replacing the spark plugs in your SLX every 30,000 miles or two years.
whichever comes first. That interval is every 60,000 miles, or four years whichever comes first.
Please use the enclosed label to correct page 177 of your Owner's Manual. For best results, peel the backing off half the label, and press the label in
place. Then remove the remainder of the backing, and smooth the label over the entire page
Acura dealerships will be sent a notice advising them of this change. If you need an additional correction label, or it you have any questions. please
contact your Acura Dealer or call Acura customer Service at 800-382-2238.
We apologize or this error. but we did not wish to have you replace your Spark plugs unnecessarily and spend money needlessly
