SLX V6-3.2L SOHC (1996)
Starter Motor: Service and Repair
1.
Disconnect battery ground cable, then cover connector end with electrical tape.
2.
Raise and support vehicle, then disconnect oxygen sensor electrical connector.
3.
Remove exhaust pipe from lefthand side.
3.
Disconnect wiring from solenoid.
4.
Remove starter motor retaining bolts and nuts, then the starter assembly.
5.
Reverse procedure to install.
