Shift Interlock Solenoid: Testing and Inspection
The shift lock solenoid prevents the gear selector from being moved to any gear, unless the brake is applied. No adjustments are required. Replace
if not functioning properly, refer to Fig. 2 for terminal locations.
1. Connect 12V battery positive, to terminal No.1.
2. Connect battery ground to Terminal No. 2.
3. If the solenoid is not functioning properly, replace as necessary.
