Remove the windshield wiper arms.
3.
Remove the hood seal and the cowl cover.
4.
Pull off the two cowl drain valves by hand.
5.
Cut 5 mm off the bottom edge of each valve, then cut a slit as illustrated.
6.
Thoroughly clean any dirt or debris from the cowl area.
7.
Reinstall the valves.
