Fluid - A/T: Service and Repair
FLUID CHANGE
1. Bring the transmission up to normal operating temperature (the radiator fan comes on) by driving the vehicle. Park the vehicle on level ground,
turn the engine off, and remove drain plug.
2. Reinstall the drain plug with a new sealing washer.
Torque: 49 Nm (36 ft.lb)
3. Refill the transmission with the recommended fluid to the upper mark on the dipstick.
Automatic Transmission Fluid Capacity:

Drain and Fill: 2.7 l (2.9 US qt.)

Dry Fill: 7.2 l (7.6 US qt.)

Genuine Honda Premium Formula Automatic Transmission Fluid

Always use Genuine Honda Premium Formula Automatic Transmission Fluid. Using a nonHonda ATF can affect shift quality.
