Power Steering Pump Speed Sensor: Service and Repair
REPLACEMENT
1. Disconnect the vehicle speed sensor (VSS) wire connector from the power steering speed sensor.
2. Remove the sensor mounting bolt, and remove the power steering speed sensor from the differential housing.
3. Disconnect the sensor hoses and plug the fittings.
4. After installing a new power steering speed sensor, turn the steering wheel lock-to-lock with the engine idling to bleed air from the system.
5. Check the reservoir, and add fluid if necessary.
