Trunk / Liftgate Solenoid: Testing and Inspection
Trunk Lid Opener Solenoid Test
1. Disconnect the 3P connector from the trunk latch switch/trunk lid opener solenoid.
2. Check solenoid operation by connecting power and ground according to the table. To prevent damage to the solenoid, apply battery voltage only
momentarily.
3. If the solenoid does not work as specified, replace it.
