Online, enter keyword SEAT REMOVAL, then select Front Seat Removal/Installation from the list.*

Disconnect the four connectors from the power seat control unit, then pull down on the control unit to release the clips, and remove it from the
seat.
4.
Install the new power seat control unit, and connect the four connectors.
5.
Reinstall the driver's seat.

Set the two seat positions in the memory of the DPMS using the door panel memory switches:

Online, go to Search by Publication, then select Owner Manuals from the list.

Select 2004 TL Owner's Manual or 2005 TL Owner's Manual, then select Instruments and Controls from the main table of contents.

Select Driver's Position Memory System from the Instrument and Controls table of contents.*
7.
Verify the repair:

Use the remote transmitter provided by the client to select the memorized seat position for that remote.
^
Press memory buttons 1 and 2 to move the seat to the two memorized positions.
