2. Set the spark plug seals (A) on the spark plug tubes, and install the cylinder head covers (B).
3. Visually check the spark plug seals for damage.
4. Inspect the cover washers (C). Replace any washer that is damaged or deteriorated.
5. Tighten the bolts in two or three steps. In the final step tighten all of the bolts, in sequence, 12 Nm (1.2 kgf-cm, 8.7 ft. lbs.) (front cover shown).
