Cabin Temperature Sensor / Switch: Testing and Inspection
In-car Temperature Sensor Test
1. Remove the in-car temperature sensor.
2. Check for a change in resistance by heating the sensor with a hair drier or cooling the sensor in a cool cup of water.
3. Compare the resistance reading between the No.1 and No.2 terminals of the in-car temperature sensor with the specifications shown in the graph;
the resistance should be within the specifications.
4. If the resistance is not as specified, replace the in car temperature sensor.
