Third drive cycle
In the third drive cycle, involving a cold start, if the fuel fill cap is still loose or missing, the ECM/PCM stores DTC P0457 "Evaporative Emission (
EVAP) System Leak Detected/Fuel Cap Loose or Missing" and indicates the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) (A) comes on.
At this time, the message "CHECK FUEL CAP" will go off from the Multi-Information Display (B)
