ABS Indicator Comes On With DTCs 15, 16, 17, 18, 43, and/or 44
SYMPTOM
ABS indicator comes on with intermittent rear ABS sensor code(s).
PROBABLE CAUSE
Moisture in the sensor.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Replace the appropriate rear wheel ABS sensor.

DIAGNOSIS
Connect the Honda Diagnostic System (HDS) to the DLC (data link connector), and check for DTCs.

If DTC 15,16,17, 18, 43, and/or 44 is stored, go to REPAIR PROCEDURE.

If another DTC is stored, refer to the 2004 TL Service Manual for the appropriate troubleshooting.
REPAIR PROCEDURE
1.
Raise the vehicle on a lift, and remove the rear wheel of the affected side.
