Line up the slots in the arms with the bolt holes on the corners of the jack base, then attach the adapter to the jack base with the bolts that came
with the jack. Tighten all of the bolts securely.

Raise the jack to vehicle height.

Adjust the rear stops to the width of the subframe. Loosen the wing nut. With the rear bar of the adapter spanning the sides of the subframe, route
the adapter's strap around the front of the subframe. Pull the strap as tightly as possible, insert the pin through the appropriate loop, then tighten the
wing nut.
5.
With all of the vehicle parts properly supported or removed (see Engine or Transmission Removal in the appropriate service manual), use the
controls on the jack to carefully lower the subframe.
