Front Door Window Glass Weatherstrip: Service and Repair

Front Door Glass Outer Weatherstrip Replacement

NOTE:

Put on gloves to protect your hands.

-

Take care not to scratch the door.

1. Remove these items:

-

Door panel bracket  See: Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Front Door Window Glass/Service and Repair

-

Plastic cover, as needed  See: Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Front Door Handle/Front Door Exterior Handle/Service and Repair

Power mirror  See: Mirrors/Service and Repair/Power Mirror Replacement

2. Remove the screw from the rear edge of the door.

3. From the inside of the door, slide the clips (A) on the door glass outer weatherstrip (B) to release the hooks (C) from the flanges (D) on the door .
