Knock Sensor: Service and Repair
Knock Sensor Replacement
1. Remove the intake manifold See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Intake Manifold/Service and Repair/Intake Manifold Removal/Installation.
2. Remove the injector base See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Intake Manifold/Service and Repair/Injector Base Removal/Installation.
3. Disconnect the knock sensor connector (A).
4. Remove the knock sensor (B).
5. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
