Special Tools Required

Driveshaft Remover 07AAD-S3VA000
NOTE: Be careful not to damage the brake hose, sensor, and harness.
1. Raise and support the vehicle See: Maintenance/Vehicle Lifting/Service and Repair.
2. Remove the rear wheels.
3. Remove exhaust pipe B and the muffler See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Exhaust System/Muffler/Service and Repair.
4. Remove the lower arm A mounting bolt (A) and the lower arm B mounting bolt (B).
5. Use a hammer to wedge the driveshaft remover between the inboard joint (A) and the rear differential (B).
6. Pull the knuckle outward, and separate the inboard joint from the rear differential.
