Sunroof / Moonroof Cable: Service and Repair
Moonroof Drain Channel Slider and Cable Assembly Replacement
1. Remove the frame. See: Sunroof / Moonroof Frame/Service and Repair
2. Remove these parts from the frame:

Sunshade See: Sun Shade/Service and Repair

Moonroof motor See: Sunroof / Moonroof Motor/Service and Repair
3. Put on gloves to protect your hands. Remove the screws (A) securing the cable tube rear brackets (B). Remove the cable tube side bracket
mounting bolts (C) and the cable tube mounting screws (D) from both sides of the frame (E).
4. Turn both cable tube side brackets (A) up to release the hooks (B) from the holes in both sides of the frame.
5. Pivot the glass brackets (C) down by sliding the link lifters (D) back, then slide both glass brackets back with the link lifters.
6. Slide the cable assembly (E) half-way back.
7. Release the rear hooks of the slide stops (A) by pushing them forward, then pivot the stops up.
