MIL Comes On with DTC P1659
SYMPTOM
The MIL comes on with DTC P1659 (ETGS control relay OFF malfunction).
PROBABLE CAUSE
The PGM-FI software misinterprets sensor inputs as a problem with the ETGS control relay if the vehicle is jump started, causing DTC P1659 to be set.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Update the PGM-FI software with the HDS.
