KTC trim tool set SOJATP2014 *

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations and the precautions and procedures before performing repairs or service.
NOTE:

Put on gloves to protect your hands.

Take care not to damage, wrinkle or twist the carpet.

Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when prying components.

Be careful not to damage the dashboard or other interior trim pieces.
1. Make sure you have the anti-theft code for the radio and the navigation system, then write down the customer's audio presets. Make sure the
ignition switch is OFF.
2. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery, and wait at least 3 minutes before beginning work.
3. Remove these items:
-
Front seats, both sides.
-
Rear seat cushion.
-
Rear seat side bolsters, both sides.
-
Kick panels, both sides.
-
Front door sill trim, both sides.
-
Rear door sill trim, both sides.
-
B-pillar lower trim.
-
Center console.
-
Driver's dashboard center lower cover.
-
Passenger's dashboard center lower cover.
-
Driver's dashboard undercover.
-
Passenger's dashboard lower cover.
-
Parking brake lever.
-
Stereo amplifier.
4. Remove the front seat belt lower anchor bolt, both sides.
5. Push the knob (A) back to release the hooks (B) then pull up the accelerator pedal (C).
