Rear Wheels Howl or Growl
SYMPTOM
There is a howl or growl coming from one or both rear wheels.
PROBABLE CAUSE
Some rear wheel sensors may have been improperly installed, allowing moisture to enter the rear hub bearing unit.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
If the noisy hub bearing unit is rusty, replace it and the wheel sensor. If the noisy hub bearing unit is not rusty, replace just the hub bearing unit.

DIAGNOSIS
1. Check the treadwear on the rear tires. Does either tire have an uneven wear pattern?
Yes - Go to step 2.
No - Go to REPAIR PROCEDURE.
