Using a plastic trim tool, pry up the front side cap to detach the four hooks, then remove the cap.

Remove the opener lock cylinder. Remove the bolt from the opener assembly.

Pull up the front door sill trim by hand to release the five clips, then remove the front door sill trim. Note which of the three grooves on the opener
cable the opener assembly is attached to. Disconnect the cable from the trunk lid/fuel fill door opener assembly.
