Sunroof / Moonroof Panel: Service and Repair
Panoramic Glass Roof Moving Panel Replacement
1. Close the moving glass panel fully.
2. Remove the mechanism track cover See: Sunroof / Moonroof Interior Trim Panel/Service and Repair.
3. Release the hooks (A), then remove the mechanism glass cover (B).
4. Remove the TORX screws securing the moving glass panel (A) with a TORX T25 bit on both sides.
5. Remove the moving glass panel (A) by lifting it up. Do not damage the roof panel.
6. Install the panel in the reverse order of removal, and do the moving glass panel position adjustment See: Adjustments.
7. Check for water leaks See: Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Front Door Window Glass/Adjustments. Use free-flowing water from a
hose without a nozzle. Do not use high-pressure water.
