1. Do the battery terminal disconnection procedure See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and Repair/Procedures.
2. Remove the steering column covers See: Steering and Suspension/Steering/Steering Column/Steering Column Cover/Service and Repair.
3. Remove the two screws, harness clip, and bracket (A).
4. Disconnect the 5P connector (B) from the ignition switch (C).
5. Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table.
6. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the ignition switch See: Service and Repair.
7. Do the battery terminal reconnection procedure See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and Repair/Procedures.
