6. Install the vertical acceleration sensor in the reverse order of removal.
7. Test-drive the vehicle, and check that the active damper system indicator does not come on See: Suspension/Suspension Control ( Automatic -
Electronic )/Testing and Inspection/Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview.
Rear
1. Press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode.
2. Remove the appropriate side of the rear side trim panel See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Interior
Trim Removal/Installation - Rear Side Area.
3. Disconnect the vertical acceleration 3P sensor connector (A).
NOTE: The illustration shows the left side of the vehicle, the right side is similar.
4. Remove the sensor mounting nuts, and pull out the vertical acceleration sensor (B).
5. Install the vertical acceleration sensor in the reverse order of removal.
6. Test-drive the vehicle, and check that the active damper system indicator does not come on See: Suspension/Suspension Control ( Automatic -
Electronic )/Testing and Inspection/Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview.
