Fluid Pressure Sensor/Switch: Service and Repair
Transmission Fluid Pressure Switch A (2nd Clutch) Replacement
Transmission Fluid Pressure Switch A (2nd Clutch) Replacement
1. Remove the air cleaner See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Tune-up and Engine Performance Checks/Air Cleaner Housing/Service and
Repair.
2. Remove the intake air duct See: Automatic Transmission/Transaxle/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Automatic Transmission
Removal.
3. Disconnect the transmission fluid pressure switch A (2nd clutch) connector, and remove transmission fluid pressure switch A (2nd clutch) (A) and
the sealing washer (B).
4. Install a new transmission fluid pressure switch A (2nd clutch) and a new sealing washer, and tighten the switch.
5. Check the connector for rust, dirt, or oil, and clean or repair if necessary, then connect the connector securely.

Installation.
7. Install the air cleaner See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Tune-up and Engine Performance Checks/Air Cleaner Housing/Service and
Repair.
