The MPI engine management system is used on the 20 valve 2.22 liter DOHC 5 cylinder engine. A single ECU performs both fuel management and
ignition control. The ECU monitors various engine sensors and controls the air/fuel ratio, ignition timing, and ignition dwell, through output devices and
signals.
